Day 1
Ankara – Arrival

Arrive Ankara and Meet representative to enjoy city tour.

Ankara Citadel - a wander around the Old City and its much-besieged fortress. Robust foundations, believed to date back to the Galatians, support rugged double walls built from vast stone blocks. Several are now protected by UNESCO. Also visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations. Ankara's most impressive collection of artifacts are housed in this imposing property with items dating back to the third Millennium and a rare array of Paleolithic, Neolithic and Roman artworks. Lunch provided at local restaurant. Back to hotel early evening, dinner on guest own arrangement, free and overnight at hotel.

Day 2
Ankara: Day trip to Safranbolu (UNESCO)

Day trip to Safranbolu – 230kms / 3 hours’ drive

On arrival visit the old district of Carsi to see the Ottoman architecture in old days.

The Cinci Hammam Bath and Safrnbolu Bazzars then drive back to Ankara

Safranbolu is a town in the Black Sea region of northern Turkey, once a stop on the trade route between Europe and the Orient. Its Ottoman architecture includes the old Çarşı district, with hundreds of preserved, red-roofed Ottoman houses on cobblestone streets. Cinci Han is a 17th-century caravansary with rooftop views over town. Nearby, Tarihi Cinci Hamam is a restored 17th-century bathhouse, still in operation.

Day 3
Ankara – Cappadocia (UNESCO)

Check out and transfer to Cappadocia – 286kms / 4 hours’ drive

On route stop at the Mausoleum of Atatuak - a stunning construction that blends ancient and modern architectural design to dramatic effect. An adjacent museum contains a wax statue of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Turkey's beloved founder, together with his writings, personal items and other memoirs which serves as a tribute to the founder of modern Turkey.

Arrive Cappadocia and visit the Underground city of Kaymakli - the largest on in Cappadocia - is built under the hill was opened to visitors in 1964. The people of Kaymakli village have constructed their houses around nearly one hundred tunnels of the underground city. The inhabitants of the region still use the most convenient places in the tunnels as cellars, storage areas and stables, which they access through their courtyards.

After sightseeing, check in at hotel and stay overnight.

Day 4
Cappadocia

After your breakfast at hotel, transfer to visit to Goreme which is in the northern apart and visit Open-Air Museum has been listed as an UNESCO site since 1984, resembles a vast monastic complex composed of scores of refectory monasteries placed side-by-side, each with its own fantastic church. It is only 15 minute walk (1.5km, 1 mile) from Goreme village center. It contains the finest of the rock-cut churches, with beautiful frescoes (wall paintings) whose colors still retain all their original freshness. It also presents unique examples of rock hewn architecture and fresco technique. Thereafter, continue to visit Uchisar, Avanos, Pasabagi, Devrent Valley and Rose Valley.

Drive back to hotel at late afternoon. Stay overnight

Day 5
Cappadocia – Konya – Pamukkale

Optional Activity: Hot Air Balloon Ride

Check out and drive to Pamukkale via Konya. 306kms / 4 hours’ drive

Enroute, visit the 13th century caravanserai of Sultanhan, which was built in the years 1228 to 1229 by Alaattin keykubat, an exceptional example of architectural stone work and decoration art from the Seljuk period.

On arrival Konya, visit the Mevlana museum also known for its theological school and whirling dervishes.

Then continue drive to Pamukkale. Check in at hotel and stay overnight

Pamukkale - means 'Cotton Castle' in Turkish, is known for the mineral-rich thermal weter flowing down white travertine terrace on a hillside, one of the most visit tourist attraction site in the Denizli Province. It neighbors Hierapolis, an ancient Roman spa city founded around 190 B.C. Ruins there include a well-preserved theater and a necropolis with sarcophagi that stretch for 2km. The antique pool is famous for its submerged Roman columns as the result of an earthquake. UNESCO listed site.

Day 6
Pamukkale – Ephesus – Izmir

Check out and transfer to the ruins of Apollo Temple – the fascinating necropolis and the great baths of Hierapolis antique city. Then, drive to the ancient capital of Asia Minor - Ephesus and one of the best preserved of the old home to the Temple of Hadrian, Temple of Rajan, the Theatre and the Celsus Library.

Visit the House of the Virgin then continue driver to Izmir

Arrive Izmir, check in at hotel and stay overnight.

Day 7
Izmir: Day trip to Pergamum

Pick up at hotel and drive to visit the famous Pergamum Kingdom, built 323 -159BC - rival city of Alexandria at Roman times in the domain of arts and letters, is now one of the spectacular archeological sites of Turkey.

Upon arrival, visit the Theatre, the Temple of Trajan, the Altar of Zeus, etc....

After your sightseeing tour in Pergamum transfer back to Izmir and stay overnight.

Day 8
Izmir / Istanbul  

Check out, pick up at hotel by our driver and transfer to airport.

Depart Izmir and take flight to Istanbul

Meet representative upon arrival and check in at hotel.

In the afternoon visit the Blue Mosque, also named as The Sultan Ahmed Mosque is a historic mosque located in Istanbul, Turkey and continues to function as a mosque today; men still kneel in prayer on the mosque's lush red carpet after the call to pray, then just behind the Blue Mosque is the Arasta Bazaar; a great place for a shopping stop as the handicraft shops here sell high-quality souvenirs. Even if you're not interested in a browse, head here to see the Great Palace Mosaic Museum, which is tucked between the Arasta Bazaar and the mosque. This small museum displays the 250-square-meter fragment of mosaic pavement that was unearthed in the 1950s here. Excellent information panels explain the mosaic floor's recovery and subsequent rescue.

Then back to hotel, after sightseeing and stay overnight.

Day 9
Istanbul: City Tour

Today visit the Hagia Sophia Musuem, which is the former Greek Orthodox Christian patriarchal cathedral, later an Ottoman imperial mosque and now a museum in Istanbul, Turkey. Built in 537 AD at the beginning of the Middle Ages, it was famous in particular for its massive dome. Then to Topkapı Palace is a large museum in Istanbul. It served as the main residence and administrative headquarters of the Ottoman sultans in 15th century. Construction began in 1459, ordered by Mehmed the Conqueror, six years after the conquest of Constantinople. Then visit to the Sirkeci Train Station. Sirkeci railway station, listed on maps as Istanbul railway station, is a railway terminal in Istanbul.

The terminal is located on the tip of Istanbul's historic peninsula right next to the Golden Horn and just northwest of Gülhane Park and the Topkapı Palace.

Afternoon visit the The Basilica Cistern is one of Istanbul's most surprising tourist attractions. This huge, palace-like underground hall, supported by 336 columns in 12 rows, once stored the imperial water supply for the Byzantine emperors. The project was begun by Constantine the Great but finished by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century.

Then back to hotel, after sightseeing and stay overnight.

Day 10
Istanbul – Departure

Check out from hotel.

Continue sightseeing of Istanbul before heading to the airport for your departure flight.

Visit Chora Museum, which is the Church of the Holy Saviour in Chora is a medieval Byzantine Greek Orthodox church preserved as the Chora Museum in the Edirnekapı. Then visit the Dolmabahçe Palace located in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul, Turkey, on the European coast of the Bosphorus, served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire from 1856 to 1887 and 1909 to 1922.

In the afternoon visit the Grand Bazaar for some shopping and take a small speed boat through Bosphorus for around 90mins, today this kind of boat ride is still the lifeblood of the city. Spanned by two mammoth bridges, and with a third on the drawing board, these days small motorboats scoot brave commuters through the heavy early-morning fog and between the rusting hulks of Russian tankers - sobering reminders that this beloved waterway is one of the world's busiest and most perilous transport thoroughfares.

After sightseeing, transfer to Istanbul Airport

Depart Istanbul and take flight back home.
