Visit a Christ Church, built by the British in 1910 is known for its beautiful stained glass windows. On the church grounds, plaque erected in memory of British tea planters tell their own poignant story.

Morning by boat to visit the Periyar Lake, which is formed by the construction of the dam across the Mullaperiyar River in 1895, the lake harbors within itself a unique aquatic ecosystem. You might see the wildlife like deer, boar and birdlife it's more of a cruise on this beautiful lake by common boats are operated by the forest department. (Subject to operation). After a leisurely breakfast, drive to jetty point board the houseboat on the backwaters for day cruising. Board on a private houseboat for the most fascinating and enjoyable route in Kerala, backwater consist of a complex network of lagoons, lakes, & canals and experienced while slowly rowing down the labyrinth of canals in a traditional thatch-roofed houseboat, known as 'Kettuvallam'.  Relish the special Kerala style lunch prepared by your chef on board.  Disembark the houseboat and drive back to the hotel.
