Pick up at hotel and transfer to visit the Imperial Citadel, can see the vast of the Palace which is just smaller than the Forbidden City in China. However the temples, pavilions, walls, and gates were damaged first during skirmishes with the French in 1947, and then most of what was left was destroyed by American forces during the Tet Offensive (a major military campaign during the American-Vietnam War) in 1968.
Then visit to the Two of the most famous Royal Tombs—Tu Doc Tomb and Khai Dinh Tomb—are located here. Wander the temples, courtyards, tombs and pavilions tucked amid lush pine forests with your guide to learn a bit about the Nguyen Dynasty.
Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch visit a conical hat and an incense stick-making village and the Dong Ba Market and then continue to Thien Mu Pagoda on the bank of the River. Then take the boat on the gentle Perfume River ride to Hue and transfer back to your hotel. Dinner on guest own account, free and overnight at hotel.
