Once known as the Khmer Empire, located in the southern part of the Indochina peninsula. Made famous by the Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, But it is not just about temples, it has a little bit of everything, from ancient cultures to the forgotten and lost civilization route of Mekong River in Phnom Penh

Day 1
Phnom Penh - Arrival

Take morning flight to Phnom Penh. 

Upon arrival, meet representative and transfer to hotel for check in. Lunch is on own account.

Begin your tour at Cambodia’s Royal Palace, which stands majestically in the city centre just off the riverfront area. Several buildings are open to visitors including the ‘Silver Pagoda’ whose floor is lined with solid silver tiles. Continue to the National Museum. Located in a fabulous old building, the Museum is filled with art and artifacts dating back to the pre-Angkorian era.  At the north end of the city is the hilltop pagoda of Wat Phnom, for which the capital was named. Climb the stairs to the top of the hill for fabulous views of the city below.

After sightseeing, back to hotel. Dinner is on own account.

Day 2
Phnom Penh

Breakfast is at hotel. Start an architecture cyclo tour in the morning, then travel to explore the colonial buildings, district around the old post office, modern and post independent architecture which introduces the historical of the city. It is the combination of popular and religious buildings then go south to the area south-east of the Central Market.  After 2.5 hours to 3 hours, we return back to the hotel. Free at leisure. Lunch is on own account.

In the afternoon take a look into the country’s tragic recent history with a tour of Tuol Sleng Prison (S-21) and the Killing Fields at Choeung Ek, sobering reminders of the evils of the Khmer Rouge regime. Although not a joyful tour, visiting these monuments unlocks keys to understanding the development of this still developing country. In between there is also time for a visit to the ‘Russian Market’. Test out your bargaining skills as you wander through the stalls filled with souvenirs, local handicrafts, and electronic goods.

After sightseeing, back to hotel. Dinner is on own account.

Day 3
Phnom Penh / Siem Reap

Breakfast is at hotel. Free until Check out and transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for your flight to Siem Reap.

Upon arrival Siem Reap, meet representative and transfer to hotel for check in. Lunch is on own account.

In the afternoon, the most spectacular temples at the ancient city of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. Enter the city through the ancient South Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with Elephants and four giant faces. From here, visit Baphuon, a single sanctuary temple-mountain situated on a high base. It is a symbolical representation of Mount Meru. Continue to Bayon Temple in the exact center of the city. This 12th century masterpiece is a study in grandeur and is well known for its 54 towers with enigmatic faces representing the 54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire. Move to visit the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King are also must-visits, as they are both known for their intricate bas-reliefs.

After sightseeing, transfer back to hotel, free to relax. Dinner is on own account.

Day 4
Siem Reap: Tonle Sap Lake and Angkor Wat

Experience an unforgettable morning, as the roosters begin to crow, you will be out at the most important religious monument in Cambodia, watching the sun rise over the triple towers of Angkor Wat. Thereafter, enjoy your delicious packed breakfast provided by the hotel, just outside the temple area in peaceful surroundings and receive a monk’s blessing. This unique experience includes chanting, prayers, and incense and flower offerings. You will leave with keep sake that is meant to bring luck and prosperity.

After receiving the monk’s blessing, transfer to pier and take a private boat ride to visit floating village at the Tonle Sap Lake and the surrounding which is consider as the largest fishing village in Asia. This vast lake is also the largest in Southeast Asia, which fills the waters of the Mekong each year. Lunch is on own account.

In the afternoon, transfer to visit Ta Prohm (Jungle temple) and Angkor Wat.

Unlike most of the temples of Angkor, Ta Prohm has been largely left to the clutches of the living jungle. Ta Prohm has been left just it was founded, the photogenic and atmospheric combination of trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of Angkor's most popular temples with visitors. Whereas, the legendary and famous World Wonder Angkor Wat is visually, architecturally and artistically breathtaking. It is the world largest religious monument and a masterpiece that showcases the pinnacle of Khmer Art. Its beauty and state of preservation, is unrivaled; its artistic distinctiveness as fine as that of the Taj Mahal. It is a massive three-tiered pyramid crowned by five lotus-like towers rising 65 meters from ground level. Angkor Wat is the centerpiece of any visit to the temples of Angkor. After sightseeing, back to hotel. Dinner is on own account.

Day 5
Siem Reap: Phnom Kulen, Bantaey Srei , Bantaey Samre

Breakfast is at hotel. Transfer to explore the sacred mountain of Phnom Kulen, considered a holy mountain in Cambodia, of special religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists who come to the mountain in pilgrimage. Upon arrival, visit the thousand linga river where you'll see some images of gods and countless Shiva Lingas carved on the riverbed, admire the intricate carvings of the red sandstone temple dedicated to Shiva. Go to the hilltop site to see the huge reclining Buddha carved at the height of a big rock. Be delighted to see the Kulen Waterfall, the most beautiful waterfall in Siem Reap, where you can enjoy bathing with the locals. Picnic lunch will be provided.  

After lunch, continue to visit the charming Bantaey Srei and Banteay Samre Temples.

Banteay Srei Temple or the “Citadel of Women”, a 10th century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.  Located in the area of Angkor in Cambodia.  It lies near the hill of Phnom Dei, 25 km in the north-east of the main group of temples that once belonged to the medieval capitals of Yasodharapura and Angkor Thom. After that, continue to visit Banteay Samre, the Hindu temple in the Angkor Wat style, built under Suryavarman II and Yasovarman II in the early 12th century. After sightseeing, back to hotel. Dinner is on own account.

Day 6
Siem Reap - Departure

Breakfast is at hotel. Free time is at leisure until check out. , then check out.

Transfer to Siem Reap airport to board for your departure flight.
