Breakfast at hotel.

Pick up at the hotel lobby and transfer to Fenqihu Old Street (1.5hr drive). Fenqihu is located 1400 meters above sea level and was once a refuel middle stop for the old Alishan forest trains. It is now a stop for travelers to take a rest on the way to Alishan Forest Recreation Area. Stroll around the old street and visit to Stream Railway station. Knowing the history of Alishan forest trains and you also can try the famous “ Railway Lunch Box”.

Then continue drive one hour to Alishan Forest Recreation Area. Upon arrive at Alishan. Deposit the baggage in Visitor Center / Accommodation if it’s near by the Visitor Center. Free to stroll around the commercial street near by the visitor center and the Alishan train station. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant, experience Alishan local style food. Then check in to hotel. Afternoon take guided walking tour to explore the Alishan Scenic Area, Tour start from Visitor center along the forest trail passing through the Cherry Blossom Trail. (Cherry Blossom seasons cover from end of February to earlier of April). Visit o the Zhaoping Park and Zhaoping Train Station. Then walk into the forest, visit to the Sisters Ponds to knowing the legend of Alishan. Then visit to Mognola garden and take a break in Xianlin service area. Continue visit the Alishan icons such as Elephant Trunk Tree, Three generations Tree and King Cherry and The Giant Tree. Then go back to visitor center along the forest trail. (2 - 4hours walking for the whole forest trail.).

Dinner at local restaurant. Back to hotel. Free and overnight.
