After breakfast at hotel, drive overland 180 kms– around 5 hours along Yunnan-Tibet road to Zhongdian. En route, visit to the Bend of the Yangtze River – consider as the mother river of China, flows majestically through the center of China and is the third longest river in the world.

Tiger Leaping Gorge of Yangtze River is one of the deepest gorges in the world. This gorge is 1,800 meters above sea level. The river is flanked by Yulong and Haba snow mountains with a height difference of 3,900 meters. Take a soft hiking route around the area for 2 hours.  Lunch provided at local restaurant.

Continue drive to Shangri-la.  Upon arrival check in at hotel. Dinner on guest own account.  Free and overnight.
