Breakfast at hotel.  Self-drive from Launceston, make your way to the East Coast and the beautiful Bay of Fires (2hrs40mins). It is one of Tasmania's most popular conservation reserves. Famous for its crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches and orange lichen-covered granite boulders.  If the conditions are right, this is the perfect place for a swim. You can explore the Bay of Fires base from St Helens or Binalong Bay,  Tasmania’s most scenic coastal.

You can drive through St Helens by one hour ride to overnight in Bicheno, where you may want to join an evening viewing of the Little Penguins. And visit to famous Bicheno Blowhole.
