Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out and driving back to Thimphu. Your first stop will be the King's Memorial Chorten, built in 1952 by Bhutan's third king, H.M. Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, as a memorial to his late father.

Next, visit the Drubthob Gonpa, also known as the Zilukha Nunnery, which was once home to Drubthob Thang Thong Gyalpo, often referred to as the "King of the Open Field."

Continue your exploration at the National Library, which houses ancient manuscripts and is home to the largest book in the world. Then, visit the National Institute of Traditional Medicine, a training center for medical practitioners where herbal medicines are prepared and dispensed.

After completing your sightseeing in Thimphu, drive to Paro.
