After breakfast at hotel, transfer to visit Dambulla Cave Temples. Here is found the famous Rock Temple dating to the First Century B.C. The caves of Dambulla sheltered King Walagamba during his 14 years of exile from Anuradhapura. When he regained the throne he built the most magnificent of Rock Temples to be found in the Island.

Thereafter, drive for about 2.5 – 3 hours to Kandy. En route visit the Spice Gardens & Batik Factory in Matale.

On arrival Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. A Buddhist temple located in the royal palace complex. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a UNESCO world heritage site partly due to the temple. After sightseeing, back to the hotel.

In the evening, witness a Cultural Dance show featuring various types of dances in Sri Lanka.
