Breakfast at hotel. Pick up at hotel and head to the mountains.  Drive 1.5hrs will  first stop in Sinaia, a famous mountain resort, considered to be the “Pearl of the Carpathians”.  Visit the former summer royal residence of the first king of Romania, Carol I . Built in the second half of the XIXth century, Peles Castle remained an important legacy of the Romanian royal family, a symbol of honour and discipline.

Continue the journey, entering Transylvania “the country beyond the forest”. Here will see the Bran Castle, a medieval construction that became so famous thanks to the legend of Count Dracula.
Then drive to Brasov, Kronstadt, under the original German name.  Have the chance to admire beautiful villages and their traditional architecture. Reaching Brasov, will stop in the Old City center and visit the Council Square and the Black Church, the largest Gothic building in the Eastern part of Europe. Here will find out the story of the Saxons who colonised Transylvania in Medieval Age and their beautiful legacy which remained in very good shape despite time passing by.

After sightseeing, back to hotel. Free and overnight. Lunch & Dinner on guest own account.
