Day 1
Arrive in Bucharest, Romania

Departure from your home town, flight to land in Bucharest (BUH), capital of Romania.

Upon arrival, transfer to check in at hotel. Free & overnight.   

Day 2
Bucharest: City Tour

Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy a city tour to explore Bucharest.

Visit the most interesting sights of Bucharest downtown with entrance at the Parliament Palace (optional – open between 10 am – 3 pm), – the world’s second-largest administrative building after The Pentagon. Cotroceni Palace (optional – open between 10 am – 3 pm) and The Village Museum (optional – open between 10 am – 4 pm) – the charming open-air museum which reunites original houses that belonged to the Romanian peasants being brought here from all the regions of the country: Transylvania, Oltenia, Dobrogea and Moldavia.  On the road will stop for a lunch (optional) in a local restaurant.

After sightseeing, back to hotel. Free and overnight. Lunch & Dinner on guest own account.

Day 3
Bucharest - Dracula & Peles Castles and Transylvania

Breakfast at hotel. Pick up at hotel and head to the mountains.  Drive 1.5hrs will  first stop in Sinaia, a famous mountain resort, considered to be the “Pearl of the Carpathians”.  Visit the former summer royal residence of the first king of Romania, Carol I . Built in the second half of the XIXth century, Peles Castle remained an important legacy of the Romanian royal family, a symbol of honour and discipline.

Continue the journey, entering Transylvania “the country beyond the forest”. Here will see the Bran Castle, a medieval construction that became so famous thanks to the legend of Count Dracula.
Then drive to Brasov, Kronstadt, under the original German name.  Have the chance to admire beautiful villages and their traditional architecture. Reaching Brasov, will stop in the Old City center and visit the Council Square and the Black Church, the largest Gothic building in the Eastern part of Europe. Here will find out the story of the Saxons who colonised Transylvania in Medieval Age and their beautiful legacy which remained in very good shape despite time passing by.

After sightseeing, back to hotel. Free and overnight. Lunch & Dinner on guest own account.

Day 4
Bucharest - Snagov Monastery & Mogosoaia Palace

Breakfast at hotel. Hotel pick up and transfer to visit  Mogosoaia Palace, explore its spectacular gardens and delight in its unique Brancovenian style of architecture, which blends Venetian and Ottoman elements. This is the Romanian Renaissance at its finest. And located just 15km from the city center it’s a convenient and stunning attraction. Following your journey into history you will head over to Snagov Monastery, which is a 14th century religious site located on an island in the middle of Snagov Lake.
Alleged throughout myth and legend to house Dracula’s tomb, the monastery is a peaceful oasis surrounded by fresh air and a lovely park, but prepare yourself because intrigue and adventure lie in wait throughout this tour of Snagov Monastery. The calming air of the monastery’s grounds is a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of vibrant Bucharest, and you will feel at ease as you explore it’s many fascinating features.

Day 5
Bucharest – Constanta

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to visit Constanta, the charming city by the Black Sea where you will admire the most beautiful sights in the Old Town of Constanta: the impressive Casino by the sea, the Orthodox Cathedral, the Grand Mosque (Carol I Mosque) and also the Aquarium...

After sightseeing, back to hotel. Free and overnight. Lunch & Dinner on guest own account.

Day 6
Bucharest - Home

Breakfast at hotel.  Check out.

Transfer to Bucharest int’l airport, board the flight return to your home town.
