Breakfast at hotel. This day step out into the Roman streets and enjoy a three-hour walking tour to discover Rome. You will be picked up at your hotel and taken from Largo Argentina on a stroll that will take you to the Piazza Navona, the world-famous Pantheon and the stunning Fontana di Trevi. Don’t forget to make a wish and toss a coin into its glimmering waters! The tour comes to an end at the Spanish Steps. From that moment on, spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Breakfast at hotel. Early in the morning, you will be whisked off to Naples by coach with a multilingual tour leader. Upon arrival in Naples, your local guide will take you for a walking tour of the historical centre to admire the Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, the Gallery of Umberto I and the San Carlo Opera House. After lunch in a typical restaurant offering Neapolitan specialties, the coach takes you to the famed city of Pompeii. Enjoy a short visit to its coral and cameo factory, where you can admire and purchase items made using an ancient Greek technique. After that, visit the excavations of this ancient Roman city, destroyed and buried under 4 to 6 meters of ash and stone by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, where you’ll better understand what life was like in Ancient Rome. Continue then to Sorrento, a charming town in the Sorrento peninsula, famous for its colourful historical centre and breath-taking waterfront filled with quaint fishing boats and a brand-new Marina Grande cruise pier. Overnight in Sorrento.
Breakfast at hotel. This day departing to the island of Capri. To get there, you will board the ferry and arrive at the Marina Grande. Once on the island, explore the Blue Grotto (weather permitting) and make a stop at the famous Piazzetta. A minibus then takes you up to admire the stunning views from Anacapri. After that, return to Marina Grande where you will board the ferry. Once on the mainland, you will be transferred back to Sorrento.
Overnight in Sorrento.
Breakfast at hotel. This day head out for a drive along the breath-taking Amalfi Coast to reach Positano. Upon arrival at the picturesque village of Positano, enjoy about an hour and a half of free time to explore this beautiful location at your own rhythm; wander through its winding lanes and delve into its many souvenir shops. Alternately, you can also opt for lazing on the beach or, if you’re feeling more cultural, checking out the Church of Santa Maria Assunta (not included in tour price). After leaving Positano and arriving in Amalfi, check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. You can reach the beach and plunge into the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, or you can discover the many quaint villages that dot this legendary coast. Overnight in Amalfi.
Breakfast at hotel. This day followed by some free time to explore the historical center of Amalfi at leisure. Justly considered an open-air museum, it preserves almost intact architectural and urban digs of its past as a rich maritime republic. You can also visit the picturesque Ravello, with its beautiful Villa Ruffolo and the magnificent gardens of Villa Cimbrone, or, alternately, you can opt for spending the day sunbathing on the beach. Indulge in a romantic dinner in one of the many pretty restaurants that line the harbour or taste the more typical street food while you wander through this city’s memorable streets (dinner is not included). Overnight in Amalfi.
Breakfast at hotel. Morning explore Amalfi at your leisure. Afternoon, transfer via Pompeii and continue your trip back to Rome. After arriving in Rome, you’ll check in and spend the night at the hotel. Overnight in Rome.
