Then head south past Woodman Point, the ship yards at Henderson and the industry of Kwinana. This will bring you to Rockingham (1.5hrs) , Enjoy a scenic drive along the Rockingham Foreshore. Continue along the winding road to the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park (1.5hrs) and take a ferry ride over to Penguin Island. Visit to Penguin Discovery Centre.

Afterward , driver 50mins to overnight in Mandurah. Free and overnight.

Finally, visit a local brewery (depending on the season) for a refreshing beer or ale, and gain an insight into Australia’s growing craft beer scene.
